AIR D’ART brings ‘living’ kinetic art by U-ram Choe to Vietnam

The internationally-acclaimed kinetic artist, U-ram Choe, will have his legendary artworks featured in the permanent collection of AIR D’ART Vietnam - a newly launched Centre of Innovative Art in Ho Chi Minh City.

U-ram Choe’s artworks are the most awaited among 4 kinetic art collections that will be exhibited for the first time in Vietnam. Choe’s artworks combine the beauty of nature with robotics and science fiction. He embraces the immeasurable of art, and transforms it into synchronized movements.

Choe describes his artworks as “a metaphor for human life. All creatures can’t live independently, somehow they are linked to one another.”

Choe shares that “Sometimes I go to my own kinetic exhibitions and watch the reactions. The attendees stay a long time and I watch their jaws drop.”

AIR D’ART Vietnam is to present over 15 selectively outstanding Choe’s kinetic arts, and many more by other artists from all over the world, starting from their grand opening on 10 July this year.
